Name: Marcus
Age: Like all Arrancar, Marcus is not as old as he looks like. He is 900 years old, but he looks like a mere twenty two year old youngster.
Gender: Male
Height & Weight: This seemingly young Arrancar is a meter and eighty five centimeters tall, while he weights seventy kilos.
Eye & Hair Color: He has dark blue hair and eyes. Though, the color of his eyes is a bit lighter than the color of his hair.

Personality Traits:
Simply put, Marcus is a quite special Arrancar. Unlike others of his kind he is not a bloodthirsty beast with an urge to kill and devour anyone and anything which walks.

He is a calm and always relaxed looking Arrancar. He rarely lets his emotions control him. Loyalty is the thing of which he cares a lot, so if he is loyal to someone, that someone can except an Arrancar who will give his life to protect them from harm. He can never be forced to do anything, unless he wants to though, so his higher ups always have an issue with that part of his personality. Of course, there are some other members of the Espada who he respects, and who he listens and obeys with no questions asked. Due to his hard and long training, Marcus thinks of himself as a strong person and strong Arrancar, thus becoming hardly afraid of anything. Well, there are still things of which he is afraid. Even if he is afraid of something, he will never show fear in front of other people. Example of his fear are snakes, which he hates the most, due to their slimy and devil like appearance. The only thing that can make him mad is the death of a loved one, nothing else. When he gets mad, he will enter a frenzy, from which he would hardly come out. While in this strange state, he attacks his foes and uses reiatsu recklessly, leaving a lot of open spots for his opponent to make a counter attack. That is one of the reasons why he always keeps his friends and loved ones close to him and protects them at all cause. While in this state, nobody can recognize him, he becomes a completely different person.

Besides that, Marcus is a typical cool looking guy with a his nice and loving side. He always acts cool and pretends to be a smart-ass, most of the time somehow hurting someone with his act. When that happens, for a moment, he stops with the act just so he could think a way to make the people who he hurt feel better. He does this secretly, without letting anyone know, not even the people who he hurt. Basically, this means that if Marcus actually hurts someone with his though guy act, he will secretly do something to make the people who he hurt feel better, even if he has to make himself look bad somehow. Anyways, he always tries to look cool and act cool, no matter what is the situation, keeping his cool is something that can help him in many situations.

Other than the things mentioned before, there is not much things to add. But, well, there is one thing which makes him different than other of his kind. Unlike other Arrancar, he has no hate towards Shinigami, even though they are the killers of his kind. The reason for that is the fact that he only saw a Shinigami once in person. At that time, one of his fellow Arrancar was having a fight with an intruder, so Marcus was able to observe most of the skills which the Shinigami had. Later on, he heard that all Shinigami have similar abilities and the only things which differ them are their Zanpaktou and their level of power. Of course, the Shinigami who he was fighting his companion defeated the other Arrancar, but he did not kill him. Instead, he left back to Soul Society. That is why he does not consider all Shinigami evil, only those who attack him and his friends. Killing someone, that is not a problem to him. Marcus killed a lot of people during his life as a human and he devoured and killed even more other Hollow during the time when he was an Adjuchas and a Gillian. Of course, at that time he had to kill others in order to survive. But, even after evolving into the last stage of the Hollow evolution, he still continued feeding. You could say that he has a hunger for power. Becoming an Arrancar gave him more power, but, he need more. Probably, till the end of his life, he will continue to search for power. That will be a quest which will never end.

Finally, the last part, his womanizing attitude. Like any other normal and straight guy, Marcus enjoys the companionship of women. But, he takes this a bit differently than other men, he considers seducing women a sport of some kind. Indeed, no matter how much he tries to stop himself, he will always try to seduce any female who he finds attractive. Even though he has a type of women which he likes the most, Marcus can still try getting some female which does not match his perfect profile for his perfect woman, depending on the situation. Rarely he can fight a women, and if he does it, he will just defend himself or he will just try seducing her while in combat. In a fight with a female, he will either let himself lose or he will use his abilities to make her unable to battle without having to harm her much. Though, if she makes him mad or enraged, he will start fighting seriously. Even if he is afraid to admit it, Alexander knows that there are some women which are stronger than him, that thought makes him quite mad.

Everyone has something positive that makes other people like them more. It doesn't matter if one is an Arrancar or not, they are still partially human.
Reading - Marcus loves reading, it is one of the few things that could relax him and one of his hobbies. He is not a type of person who can just sit on his computer and do some random things like going to Facebook and "liking" someone’s comment. Hell no, Marcus is a bit old-fashioned, instead of a computer he uses books to seek out knowledge and information which he needs. After all, he is a 900 year old dude who was born during the Crusade.
The protector - One of the flaws which this man has is his urge to help everyone. As a detective he wishes to protect and help as many people he can, even risking his life to do so, sometimes he would even risk his life to save an enemy or someone who wanted to kill him moments ago.
Nice guy - Marcus is a pretty nice guy, even though he always acts though so nobody could notice this trait. Well, no matter how hard he tries to hide that, most of the time he will fail, so most of the people who are close to him are aware of this. Basically, Marcus will always try to help those in need, and he will always try to disable his foes instead of killing them. Killing is something that he will only do if the person who he is facing is trying to kill him.

Nobody is perfect, everyone has a inner demon inside or some sort of a naughty side which rarely comes out.
Seducing women - Another one of them nasty habits, from which he earned most of his wounds. Truth to be told, Marcus was slapped by some girl who he was hitting on more times than he was punched by someone who he was attempting to arrest. But, even so, he still keeps trying to seduce young and pretty women, something which he thinks of as a hobby.
A man with no goals, or any kind of future plans - A carefree person who lives one day at a time, naturally has no goals, or a couple of small ones. Well, Marcus is just like the wind, a person with no care in the world, living just so he could live and experience life. He does not care if he dies early in his life or later on when he grows old. Well, you could say that he has a goal somewhat, which is "never to be bored in life". That is his one and only goal, if that could even be considered as a goal.

Marcus loves daydreaming and he often does it, even when on important Arrancar meeting. Other than that, the Personality section pretty much explains everything.

"Are you the one from my past?"

Background:
Marcus was born in a small village, in Italy. His village was very small, and it was surrounded by tall mountains, and large rivers. All people in that village were pour, and most of them had no food, or water. The village was ruled by a fat government official. He kept all food and money for himself, not giving anything to the villagers, and their families. Marcus's parents were pour farmers, who served that fat man, and lived in dirt. Their house was small, and they had enough supplies, just barely to survive. After some time, the government official who ruled the land decided to make his own personal army. But, he knew that nobody from that village was strong enough to become a soldier, or ready to help him. So, he decided to do something else. Knowing how the place was filled with little kids, he decided to take all of them, and raise them as his personal soldiers. For that, he had a couple of older knights who worked for him. They were once royal knights in the Vatican, but now they were outcasts. Those two would do anything for a good pay, so that would explain why were they working for him. The attack was set up to happen over the night, while everyone was sleeping. During that night, the young Marcus was somewhat 7 years old, sleeping with his parents. While his gentle blue eyes were closed, an explosion occurred in the near by area, waking up everyone in the village. When his parents heard this, the quickly woke up, dressing up themselves and their child.

At the moment, they were only thinking about the safety of their son, not concerning about their lives. Marcus was their priority, so they quickly dressed him up, placing him in his chair so they could tell him something. After a few minutes, the whole family came trough the door of their hose, running towards the forest. As they were running, they could see people being attacked by the forces of the government official, they were everywhere. Knowing that they did not have a chance to escape, the parents of the young Marcus sent their soon alone into the woods, with the instructions where to go. At that time, they stayed behind, stopping the bad guys to get near their soon. Without taking any seconds to look back, Marcus entered the forest, disappearing out of sight. After leaving the village, the young boy thought that his parents were dead, killed in the attack. Even so, he still hoped that they were still alive, even though that was not possible. The instructions given to the young boy were about an old house in the mountains, and how to reach it. According to his parents, this was the place where his parents lived with his grandparents, a long time ago. Maybe they were still alive, so he hoped to find them and live there from now on. But, the reality was quite different. After reaching that house, he found the house empty, with nobody there. No food, no water, only clothes and some strange looking swords. According to his parents, Marcuses grandfather used to be a knight of the French Empire, and those were his swords. That was the moment when he decided to become a knight as well. But, first he needed to train.

During the time after the death of his parents, the young Marcus was crushed by this tragic. He used to think how his life was quite perfect. But now, he was thinking will he even survive the night. The nights at that land were so cold and scary. For a young boy like himself, living in a dark and empty house, alone, it was quite frightening. He hopped that all of it was some kind of dream and that he will wake up soon, so he could hug his parents and other people who he knew from the village. But, nothing was happening, he was not waking up. To survive in this harsh times, the young Marcus had to hunt for food and search the land for water. The soldiers took all food and water from the village, leaving him nothing. He could not rely on anyone except himself, that was a fact which he made his mot at moments like this. Even so, Marcus still hopped to find someone out there, just so he could have someone to talk with. Eventually, he started forgetting how to say some words, even the ability of speech was leaving him. Noticing this, Marcus got an idea how to prevent this. By using a knife which he found in the former house of his parents, the young boy made a dummy out of the woods and clothes which he found. After it was finished, he started talking to it, just so he could remember how to do it. With that problem solved, the young man only had one more problem to solve. That was, getting food and water supply. At first he thought how he should get food by picking berries and mushrooms from the forest. But then, when he started that, the young boy remembered how some of this plants were dangerous. Some of them were poisonous, so he could not just pick them up and eat them, some other ways had to be found. Eventually, he found a small lake near the area in which he was, somewhat in the valley bellow the mountain. In it he found supplies of water and lots of fish swimming in it. So, now that he solve all of the main problems, training could start.

With his training in progress, the young boy started to grow up. reaching the age of 9. During the time which he spent there, Marcus rebuilt the house of his grandfather and grandmother, fixing everything out side and in side. This included the roof top, which was broken on some places, so rain drops were falling in. After fixing that, he used one of the swords which he found to cut some woods around the hose, making a bad in which he could sleep instead of sleeping on the floor. With that done, he was able to move into the house, staying only in the living room, the only place which could be locked from the inside. The house was quite large, it had two floors, together with a basement. The living room was connected with the door which led outside and with the rest of the house. There were 4 doors leading into it, all of them could be locked, so Marcus used to do that, just in case a wild animal approached the house. Other than fixing up the house for living in there, Marcus used to practice with the swords three hours per day, gaining some impressive skills in that area. Not only that, he found a couple of letters which his grandfather left behind. Among them, he found an odd looking book. When he checked who was the author, Marcus found out that it was his grandfather who wrote that book. In it, his grandfathers whole story was written, all about how he became a knight and how his life was difficult. After reading that book, a tear fell out of his eye, the story was quite sad and it reminded Marcus of his parents. So, eventually, the little boy decided to become a knight as well. He planned to go all the way to Jerusalem, and join the Crusaders, which were being gathered there in order to fight the Turks.

To reach Jerusalem, which was actually in Asia, the young man had a long way in front of him. Not only that, the path was quite difficult due to the fact that he had to cross the ocean in order to reach the main land. In order to do that he needed money in order to board a ship which went there But, the young boy did not have any money, he had to earn it somehow. To do that, he had no other options that staling the money from someone. The first person which he came across was an old fat rich guy, who was going around saying how rich he was. Knowing how people like him are ruthless and evil, Marcus decided to rob him. Judging by the fact that he had two guards, it was not supposed to be easy, but the young boy did not have any other choices. A few hours later, the young boy could be walking trough the streets of the town, eating some kind of fruits. The outcome of the battle seemed to be long decided, with Marcus the winner. With money gained from the rich guy, he was now able to board a boat which went directly to Jerusalem. There he found a lot of people leaving their home land due to the fight between war lords over power. Sad after hearing out some of their stories, the young boy set on one of the empty spaces, blacking out into a deep slumber. When he woke up, Marcus found himself in the beautiful Asia.

A few years later, Marcus could be seen in a sword duel. He was fighting a Crusader from England, with the winner getting the sword and the armor of the other one. Well, he only had his two old and rusty swords, which were not even worth anything. But, with his cocky attitude, the other man accepted his challenge, thinking how he will win this fight with no problems. But, he lost actually. Not only that, Marcus humiliated him quite badly, so he was forced to leave the Crusaders. In his place, Marcus was assigned. That really was a joyful day for the young man, who was in his twenties at that point. Finally, his dream came true, he managed to continue his grandfathers legacy. Though, now that he became a Crusader, his life did got a lot more complicated. In order to actually get a chance to fight in the war against the Turkish Empire, he had to pass trough basic training, which included practical combat training and tactical training. All of them were forced to know a great deal of information about their enemy, in case of getting captured or lost in the enemy land. The training was harsh and Marcus did wanted to quit a lot of times, but, he kept on going. Eventually, he passed all of his training. He wasn't much of an tactical type of person, but, he was skilled in close combat. Due to that, he was never destined to reach a high commanding position, he was doomed to stay as a footmen till the war ends or till he dies in the war. Getting retired, well, Crusaders never lived long enough to retire. The ones who were older, they were now in command.

One day, the Turkish Empire attacked Jerusalem, while Marcus was in it training. Even though they prepared for this a while, the Crusaders were still bound to lose, due to the fact that the Turks outnumbered them. Eventually, the battle was over, with the win for the Turkish Empire. And so Jerusalem was theirs again. Among the people who died, the name of the young Marcus was mentioned. He was killed in the initial stage of the attack, hit by an arrow fired of by the enemy archers. The arrow, impaled Marcus trough his neck. He woke up confused, not sure what happened. But, he was not the only one. Around him numerous souls appeared, all wandering what happened. But then, out of a sudden, an enormous Hollow appeared. This Hollow had some resemblance to an tiger, it shocked and surprised everyone who was there, all of the pulses started to run away. As for Marcus, he tried to take a sword out of the ground and fight this creature, but he failed. Instead, the Hollow captured him and it devoured him. It seemed as if it was all over for Marcus now. But, then, something happened. Out of a sudden, Marcus took control, so he was now the Hollow, who started eating others right away. But, as he started to evolve the scene changed, as he was sent to Hueco Mundo. There, he found himself wandering around the Forest of Menos. Suddenly, a mass fight started, as different Hollows started to devour other Hollows. Marcus was drawn into this fight as well, he attacked a Hollow who missed a part of his head, a wound which he gained from a Hollow who he devoured a few moments ago. In his wounded state, Marcus easily defeated him and started to devour him. But then, out of a sudden, all of the Hollows there transformed into a Menos Grande, an Gillian. The sher amount of reiatsu which was gathered on that spot caused this chain reaction, uniting the souls of all the Hollow gathered in that area.

Due to an unknown reason, the mask of the Gillian which formed was a bit different from the masks of other Gillian there. The reason for that was Marcus, who took control even over this new body. He was still a mindless Gillian. But, unlike others of his kind, he had a bit of an personality of his own, so he started eating other Gillian and any other Hollow who was in his way. Since now he had the ability to use Cero, the Hollows which were not Menos class were easy to beat and to devour. Soon enough, his transformation was about to start. But, a moment before he transformed further, Marcus reached the end of the Forest of Menos. So, when he transformed into an Adjuchas, he was able to leave the Forest of Menos, going to the surface. Now that he was an Adjuchas, his intelligence was back and he gained more powers than before. Even so, he had to devour more Hollows of his kind in order to stay alive, his hunger was quite large. At moments when he could not find anyone to devour, Marcus got an urge to devour some parts of himself, with his mask being first on the menu. At one of those moments, he actually decided to do it. With a punch to his own face, he cracked his mask. Then, by grabbing it and pulling as hard as he could, large chunk of his Hollow Mask was removed. At that moment, the evolution started. He did not evolve into the next stage of the Hollow Evolution, instead, he now became a different creature, known as Arrancar. Quite shocked he was then, as his human form was regained once more, with more mover than he could ever imagine.

Well, it didn't seem as if Alexander was going to lead the way for too long. Right after the two of them left his apartment building, the young female quickly took the lead and so the blond haired male was forced to go right after her. Frankly, this kinda hurt his ego. He was a typical manly man, one who took great pride in his ego and everything which was caused by it, including things such as the fact that he was always the one leading. Yup, he was the leading one when it came to dancing, going somewhere, making love, everything. To a man like him it didn't actually matter if he knew the way or not, he still had to lead. Though, this time, the fact that he was not leading didn't seem to be the part which hurt him the most. When Yuuko told him that he should try and keep up, he thought that she was indicating the fact that he was not fast enough to keep up with her. Sadly, he was not in charge of the mission and this young female Lieutenant was the one in charge, so he was unable to say anything to her. Otherwise, if she wasn't his boss, he certainly would start quite an argument. A woman asking a man to keep up, for someone like him that was among the most insulting thins one could hear.

But, while he was being consumed by grief, the young police officer had already used her special Quincy technique to speed up the paste. Noticing her vanishing, the young blond haired male quickly followed up with a technique of his own. Indeed, humans also had their own high speed technique called Bringer Light. Unlike the technique used by the Quincy police officer, the one which Alexander used left a flash of light behind the user. Indeed, this technique which the human used was quite a unique one. But still, the speed at which one could travel using these speed techniques was exactly the same, so it all depended on the base speed of the one using it. Alexander was quite a fast human, with above average level of speed, he could certainly keep up with most of the fastest spiritually aware beings of this planet and no ordinary human could ever hope to out-speed him. But, being fast was not the only thing which determined how well was he capable of following his boss. Certainly, following her with the usage of ones Reiatsu Perception skills was one of the options which he had. But, this young detective had something else, something far better. By activating his Fullbring he caused a change in his eyes, this allowed him to follow her easily without having to sense her. Though, he didn't actually want her to see him doing this so he payed attention to her movements, waiting for her to look at him first.

Out of a sudden, the young female police officer stopped, turning around to see if he was following her. Due to his enhanced sense of vision Alexander was able to see her stopping out of a sudden and so he stopped as well, not wasting even a second. By the time she actually turned around, he was two meters away, facing her. The look on his face was rather calm and relaxed, he didn't want to show her how his pride was damaged. His eyes at that moment were already turned back to normal, it didn't seem as if anything was different about them since he deactivated his abilities the moment when he stopped. But, when she turned around again, Alexander quickly used his ability again, following her once more with his Bringer Light technique. Since he did not know where they were going, he could not determine how much longer was he supposed to follow her so he was getting a bit anxious. Oh well, at least he was getting a bit of a exercise before the actually combat. There was a chance that they would end this peacefully and without anyone getting hurt. But, it was better to be safe than sorry., so during the entire trip the young blond haired detective used his odd looking eyes to observe every single detail. He did not want to miss anything important, anything that could ease this mission. Not to mention, he made sure that his partner was not going into a trap. These special eyes were certainly useful in a variety of situations.

After a couple of minutes, the trip was over and the two of them had finally reached their final destination. The place at which they arrived didn't seem like much, it looked like a regular playground. Who were they actually after? Maybe their suspect was some kid with extraordinary abilities, a genius who got drunk with his own power. Or, it could also be a odd man who liked messing with kids. Either way, a playground was certainly a odd place to look for a suspect. Well, at least here he was able to use his abilities to their fullest, since apparently there were no nearby mortals. Like before, when Yuuko turned around, Alexander had his abilities deactivate. Once more he was given a order, this time it was related to the man who they had to find and arrest. Seemingly the person who they were looking for was a rather dangerous individual who was a master of hand to hand combat. Well, that pretty much made Alexander his worst nightmare. This young male detective was more of a mid ranged speedy and quite evasive combatant. Using his speed to evade his opponents attacks and then firing a bullet at his foe at a close range was something which he could use against this man to easily beat him. Not to mention, due to his ability he was able to follow his opponents movements at a much slower rate, so even if his foe dared to launch a counterattack, he would be ready.

"Right-o, I will be sure not to attack him unless he attacks me first. You don't have to worry about me, I know the rules and everything, been a police officer for a long period of time." At this moment Alexander didn't really feel like telling Yuuko of his powers and how, due to them, someone like that man would not be much of a threat. Then again, who knows, maybe that suspect had something against people like him, an ability of some kind that really made dodging hard. Well, there was only one way to find that out and hopefully that would not happen. The best course of actions would be making this man to peacefully surrender, wasting energy on a battle was not something that all of them would like. Anyways, there was no point in thinking about that, they had to find him before they could actually do anything. Luckily, Yuuko had a picture of this man so her partner was able to memorize how he looked like. After he had done that, he did what Yuuko did. He easily found a high enough place to look for the suspect, it was a building tad higher than the one on top of which his partner way. Still, it was basically the same thing.

From there, their mission had started. Using his quite skilled perception skills, Alexander searched for their first suspect, hoping to find him first, he couldn't let his partner get all of the credits.
