Halloween Party!

The twins are going to set up a halloween party for the supernaturally inclined to help advertise the noodle house (and to have fun)! Meaning: Halloween Party Collab!

I'm hoping the collab will encourage people to finish their applications--anyone who joins the collab before the 31st can be eligible for the bonus as this will be categorized as an open mission. There will be definitely be no combat but there would be in character prizes for best costume, pumpkin or etc... (writing the descriptions of your costume with pics optional, of course).

Furthermore, I'll be temporarily changing the banner to reflect our spooky little month here, if no one minds.

Anyone have any further ideas? Comments? Suggestions? Bricks?

It's a good idea to start this site off, Also I have a potential idea I'll go over with Miki and then present here.

Lets keep it a social collab considering its going to allow people to introduce their characters and meet other characters and factions I think that a no conflict thread will be lovely as hell. Especially considering the bloody thing is going to be hosted by my character and her entire family.

Primarily non-conflict is cool, but unless there is something in place IC to prevent conflict (such as a very wide-spread area-version of Sanctuary [with no saving throw of course]) I would find it rather weird to ENFORCE non-conflict, you get what I'm saying?

If you guys REALLY want it to be simple non-combat by gentleman's agreement OOC, we can do that, but I personally feel it would be better for there to be a solid reason IC that characters avoid combat (possibly even a reason which could be ignored, at great detriment to those ignoring it.) (Also the term 'no conflict' as used by Izumi probably isn't the best way to limit it anyway. There are many different kinds of conflict than combat.)

Those are my thoughts anyway.

Well, considering all we have are quincy, shinigami, and humans ATM probably can all get along well enough. Also if characters are in costume well then it's all good.

Considering its an introduction/site party collab honestly battles shouldn't happen. If there MUST be an actual legit reason for it then I can and will have one. Regardless I don't see any point in having a fun little Halloween Thread and making it full of combat. This isn't the old site. << Social Threads should be just as encouraged as combat crap.

For what it's worth... I can't even recall having a combat thread at the other site...

That being said, I have no problem with this party thread being non-combat, I just prefer that there be a reason IC beyond just pissing people off.

Then being the conduit of a high tier Kami it can simply be held at the Tenshi Manor or the Konkon Udon Shop. No violence zones blessed by Amaterasu herself.

High tier kami keeping everyone from getting mad that will expel anyone who does anything even remotely violent (based on intention of the violence), and the idea that if you attacked anyone, every other member of the site would instantly attack you.

Considering Amaterasu has a temper I think its safe to say she'd do more than just repel offenders from the Sanctuary... I could see her either nuking them or cursing them as well.
