Eye & Hair Color: Rather unique she possesses hair of an unnatural color for humans which is silver. Received as a result of Amaterasu forcefully occupying her body. Like most Tenshis she also is blessed with beautiful sapphire colored eyes which suggests some non Japanese ancestry.

Appearance:  Beautifully shaped and the very definition of elegance. Izumi has a body many want, curves in all the right places, a chest that is large especially for a Japanese woman but not larger than what you would see most American actresses sporting. She also possesses a desirable bottom that while isn't big is still nice and toned much like the rest of her body. On top of this she has rather delicate facial features such as a well crafted chin, well shaped pink lips, thin almost elf like cheek bones and desirable almond shaped eyes. Essentially she has rather European features, especially in regards to her build, and her chest and bottom.

Speaking of her eyes, Izumi's lustrous blue eyes do indeed resemble sapphires. They are a very brilliant blue which is rare for someone supposedly of pure Japanese descent but that is not a bad thing for these pretty orbs of blue do add a lot of charm to her already desirable figure. Over all they are gentle and friendly though piercing eyes at the same time, eyes that draw the onlooker in and lull him/her into a reverie composed of nothing more than those remarkably blue eyes and the face and body they belong to. It is said that eyes are the doorway to one's soul and if that is indeed the case then this woman's soul is beyond immaculate, for as desirable as her body is her eyes make her only so much more attractive.

Being a woman of status and holding the heritage linked title of Miko means that she tends to wear graceful though expensive clothes. Kimonos and Yukatas ranging in many colors but crafted from the finest of silks are the mainstay of her picks and they accent her body perfectly. She is a woman of refinement who shows off little skin which may be disappointing to many onlookers out there but she graces the style beautifully. With her standard clothing she tends to wear some jewelery which ranges from bracelets and earrings made out of silver to amulets and hair ornaments crafted with jade. She also wears several rings on her hands which are crafted out of silver and adorned with bits of sapphire, her favorite of which is a gold band with a beautiful diamond on it which just so happens to be her wedding ring.

Personality Traits: Izumi is a woman of rank and charm but despite her status she holds a very good nature. She is a devoted mother and partner to her children and Ren, dotting on them constantly and seeing to their well being promptly and fashionably. Touching her family invokes her protective streak which though gentle is very frightening and she will do what it takes to keep her family protected. Despite her fierceness however she is still a very dedicated healer and shrine maiden, following her duty as tasked by her ancestors and tending to the sick and wounded whomever they may be. She is intensely loyal and a modern traditional wife and thus she serves not only her family but also her friends and house guests promptly. She may get flustered around being too intimate in public especially around her children but she is extremely affectionate towards her husband/wife Ren.

There are always two sides to a coin however and Izumi is no exception. She is very passive aggressive as a result of her upbringing as a proper woman, her fiery quiet and cold but very fear inducing. Thanks to her duties as a Miko and servant of Amaterasu she has a set of rules and vows she must follow the most hampering being her vow of nonviolence against Amaterasu's children(the Japanese race)and her vow of absolute loyalty to the Kami herself. Izumi sees nothing wrong with this however and has developed a very ethnocentric and elitist view about her family and the Shinto set of beliefs in general. Despite that however considering she was raised in a proper and rather pseudo-traditional manner she is very perturbed and flustered when faced with public displays of affection from Ren. Speaking of Ren when it comes down to her significant other or even her family for that matter Izumi is a complete and utter sucker for them

While conducting herself as a powerful and respectable servant of Amaterasu Izumi has a set of mortal fears that shake her soul.

[-]She is terrified of losing her family. When her twin daughters were born they nearly died which to this day has left a deep and lasting impression on the woman. As a result she favors Tenko and Kirishi more so than her other daughters and works harder to keep them happy and pleased.

[-]Izumi is terrified of heartbreak and fears that her relationship with Ren at times may not meant to be. Both serve different Kami and met under deceitful circumstances. Despite that however Izumi holds a deep and passionate love for Ren which even Amaterasu seems to respect. Because of this she holds a deep and irrational fear towards losing her lover of many decades.

[-]Izumi is fearful of evoking the wrath of her Kami, Amaterasu. Despite being the Kami's most devoted follower there was a time in her life when, as a teenager she enraged the spirit to the point that the spirit possessed her body. While the act lead to her developing her spiritual powers the possession itself has deeply disturbed the woman. She's fearful of feeling another soul controlling her body like a puppet master and thus she strives extra hard to serve her goddess.

Family Shrine: The Tenshi Shrine has been in the Tenshi Family's possession since the Family's Ancestor Yasakane first established them as servants of the Kami. It is located near Kyoto and traditionally given to the favored daughter of the Family Matriarch.
Random Info: Anyone other than her daughters touching Ren's tail or ears is a sure way to enrage Izumi. She see's her husband/wife's fluffy tails and ears as belonging to her and her immediate family and when she is with Ren be it alone or around friends and family she's usually rubbing and scratching her lover. They are one of her favorite traits Ren possesses and a trait she wishes all her children inherited.
Random Hobby: Archery. A talent she picked up as a young girl while pretending to be a Miko akin to her ancestor Yasakane Tenshi. Much like the Mikos in fairy tales and modern anime Izumi picked up Archery and became quite good at it and even though she lacks a drop of Quincy blood her skill is still worthy enough to earn respect. The bow is her weapon of choice first and foremost.

Kami Domains: A Miko who is tied to the Goddess Amatersau herself, Izumi is much like a Cleric from the Western pen and paper RPG Dungeons and Dragons. In this that she possesses the ability to tap into Amaterasu's domains and use the Kami's power as her own. The domains in particular are Sun and Creation and both grant Izumi a wide range of powers, powers that she wields honorably. A quick explanation of the Domains will follow...

The Sun Domain is tied to Amaterasu being the Japanese Goddess of the Sun. This is more or less Izumi's main source of offense in that it allows her to use the power of the Sun itself. A good example of a power this domain grants would be something compared to pyrokinesis in that she produces the flames from her own spirit energy and draws upon Amaterasu's strength to manipulate them to her own accord.

Being more of a pacifist at nature the Creation Domain is used more often than the Sun Domain. Tied to the myth of Amaterasu birthing the entire nation of Japan this Domain serves as sources of support and healing magic for the Miko. She is a powerful healer as a result and more often than not spends most of her time in the battle field in a support role.

When casting her spells Izumi does not utter a word nor make silly hand gestures, while traditional Clerics and Magicians were known for such a thing. Instead she merely focuses on her body's own spirit energy and taps into her otherworldly bond with Amaterasu, tapping into the Kami's powers as a result and gaining access to her Domains. So while she doesn't move nor speak she does have a major tell which anyone with two eyes can see. The very second she begins casting a set of tattoos appears on the woman's face, marking her with Amaterasu's seals which last until she stops activating Amaterasu's domains.

Background: 

Birth and Childhood

Born into the illustrious Tenshi Family Izumi was the eldest daughter in a traditional Shinto Household. Her family coming from a long line of Mikos and Spiritual Exorcists she was raised in the Shinto Beliefs and given to the Kami Amaterasu at a young age. Aside from her family's ties to the Spirit Realm she lived a rather normal childhood, learning her family's heritage and lore in their Shinto Shrine and steadily being raised as a proper and respectable young woman.

When she reached puberty and developed her first menses her mother and father decided that it was time for Izumi to begin training to take up the family profession, that of a servant of the Kami themselves. Handed over to her Aunt who was a devout Shrine Maiden to Amaterasu the girl began to take her first steps towards Mikohood. Vow after vow was etched into her and tradition after many traditions were taught to her as well. She quickly and eagerly learned how a proper Miko was to act and in no time at all did she earn the favor of her Aunt as well as the Kami themselves. It was clear that the girl was meant to uphold the family tradition and lead the Tenshi Family or at least that was before her seventeenth birthday.

Ren and becoming an Avatar

Time passed and the talented child who was destined to lead the Tenshi House grew up into a beautiful and graceful young woman. Now seventeen years old and a full fledged Miko she spent each and every waking moment serving Amaterasu. With the Creation Kami as her patron the young woman was very respected and adored by the Kami and the feeling was very much mutual. Izumi as a result of this took a vow of celibacy and devotion under Amaterasu with the mindset of her body and mind belonging solely to the Kami and no one else. She was a beautiful and respected woman with the desire to stay a eternal virgin or at least again this was the plan... until Ren at least.

Their story mainly kept silent in Izumi's case(See Ren Tenshi's bio for other details) in short however Ren was a Kitsune serving under the Kami Inari who caught sight of the virginal Miko years ago. Smitten by the at the time young girl she attempted to seduce the Miko only to fail time and time again however as her presence became more and more familiar to the angelic Tenshi, Izumi over the years she found herself being drawn to Ren. Feelings she's never felt before rushed over her form and caused the young woman doubt and made her feel corrupt and dirty, she was Amaterasu's after all so why did she feel such a way for a lowly spirit of all creatures? A messenger and nothing more of a goddess that wasn't her beloved Kami. The feelings eventually became too much for the girl to resist and one night when the Kitsune visit her Izumi surprised herself and took the woman up on her offer. They kissed and they touched and consequently her vow of chastity was broken.

To be sure to say that Amaterasu was not pleased wouldn't be doing the Kami's rage any justice. The spirit was furious beyond what was natural for that matter and struck out at both Izumi and Ren. Like a bolt of lightning she surged into Izumi's body, forcefully possessing the girl and turning her power onto the Kitsune who stole her servant's virginity. Ren was cursed as a result, being turned into nothing more but a human woman, and as for Izumi herself? The Kami was filled with rage at her servant but... she just couldn't lash out at her. Instead she pitied the young Miko and left her alone, exiting her body moments after possessing her. Whether or not Amaterasu meant for this however isn't known but the trauma that Izumi suffered that day from her body being possessed by the spirit changed her. Her beautiful black hair was turned an unnatural silver, her body seemingly became timeless only aging ever so slightly every couple years but most importantly.... it would seem that Izumi herself became an Avatar of Amaterasu, able to tap into the goddess's powers and uses them as her own.

Blessed by this new body and with the knowledge that the Kami seemingly forgave her the Miko, now turned Avatar of the Goddess, was left alone with the depowered Ren. Feeling responsible for the former Kitsune's plight Izumi offered the woman her friendship, not at all blaming her for Amaterasu's rage. As time passed the two became lovers again and something more, they started a family which would eventually lead to the present.

Fingers running across Kirishi's back the tall black haired woman kneels down silently and just watches the child in a concerned and motherly manner. It was a surprise finding Kirishi here like this and without Tenko to boot, especially considering the last time the Yuki-onna seen this human teen she was a happy and peppy bundle of energy... energy that even stirred a warmth deep within the empty and cold Arrancar's heart. She respected this child for her sweetness and loyalty and just in general being around her caused the Arrancar to feel more protective than usual. Here was a small and vulnerable looking girl one who made the Ice Princess of Hueco Mundo feel almost motherly and most certainly at ease and seeing her like this? Seeing her alone? Seeing her crying and just plain defeated?

It was chaos. It was a blow to her chest. It was a wound to her very core.

Like a Mother to a Daughter or a Sister to a baby Sibling, Hakuren Suzumei loved this human girl. It wasn't that Kirishi and Tenko gave themselves to the Arrancar as servants or the fact that they tried their hardest to serve her each and every whim and desire, it was their... or well Kirishi's sweetness and loyalty in general that did it. Every little thing about her stirred every protective instinct the Arrancar possessed. She wanted to help this child now and wanted to comfort her but... really what was she supposed to do?

She kept on rubbing her back, kept on just simply making her presence known as a silent source of comfort but other than that she was at a loss. Comforting people was something Haku didn't know how to do. Never with Riko and certainly never with Kasa has she had to do something like this before. She knew the basics and that was it, knew to just be there for the girl but again just being a presence could only accomplish so much. It made her feel useless however for even though she was touching the girl and even though she said Kirishi's name and asked her soft questions, nothing seemed to help. The girl kept on crying and hurting and Hakuren kept on feeling worse.

“Hakuren-Sama,”

At the sound of Kirishi's soft and defeated voice Haku would tense up and let her dark eyes meet with the child's. Her heart would give another pain filled beat and shatter however with Kirishi's next set of words.

“Please...eat me...”

Face looking devastated at this the Ice Maiden fights a flurry of slow but strong emotions at the girl's request. Eat her? Devour her? Yes she was an Arrancar but... she didn't devour souls! Never in her memory has she made the attempt and never before has she felt the craving. She was an abnormality but that probably had something to do with her relationship and close proximity to a Goddess like her Mother. Point was however that even if she could devour this girl's soul... she just couldn't find the strength to do so. This was Kirishi, this was her servant, this girl was like a daughter or sister to her. Family didn't hurt family and the raven haired Yuki-onna honestly felt a quiet anger welling through her from the request. How could she take this girl's life? Why was Kirishi begging her? It made no sense! It hurt Hakuren to even think of it and at the same time it filled her with sorrow.

She refused to eat her. Instead she would do something else to the girl. Something she finally decided that the little teenager needed.

Slowly but surely Hakuren Suzumei would shift and move in towards the girl and slowly but surely would her arms find the girl's small frame and wrap around it. Slowly but surely would the cold Arrancar pull the girl against her and into a tight and very powerful embrace. Kirishi's face met her breasts, cushioning the girl's head and muffling her sobs and tears and Haku at once would rest her own face against the top of the girl's white hair. She held her like a mother would her daughter and she just let the girl get out each and every bitter and devastated feeling she had.

“Whatever happened... I will protect you. We are family.” She tells Kirishi softly and quietly her voice wavering for just a moment as she spotted the newcomer, a human male she didn't recognize. For a split second she wondered if the man was hostile but upon realizing that he knew the child in her arms she would write him off as a non threat. Friends weren't threats and Kirishi needed all the family and friends she could get. So instead Haku would throw the human male a motherly and protective look, as if asking him to help calm the child down, and right away would she let her eyes fall back to the snow white locks of the teen aged girl.

“If you need to cry then do so. If you need to yell then do so. Kirishi... I will listen and I will hold you but... I will not devour you. Family does not harm family. Only monsters do such a thing.” Her voice was a whisper just for Kirishi's ears alone and as she finished speaking she would tighten her grip and pull the girl deeper against her. Surely this would help this child, surely her words can pull her back... surely devouring Kirishi was out of the question. Surely things can just go back to normal. They had to.
